Today we celebrate St. Nicholas, the bishop of Myra. This has become one of my favorite saint's days! In Crozet, at the preschool, the kids in my class would decorate their own clogs and then we would stick hay and carrots inside of them. On St. Nicholas's day I would empty the clogs and fill them with chocolate coins! If you would like to celebrate St. Nichaols's day, here is a great website - St. Nicholas Center. I also found the trailor to this movie that was made about St. Nicholas. It might be a good family film.
